Service description
The website offers recorded educational courses for MRCOG examination preparation, together with optional personal and group training arranged separately. Recorded courses are digital services. They are not physical goods and are not shipped.
Course titles, examination parts, descriptions, and prices shown on public course pages are taken from the academy's published course records.
Accounts and responsibilities
A student account is required to purchase a recorded course, start a free trial where offered, and access enrolled course content. You must provide accurate account details, keep login credentials confidential, and use the account only for your own preparation.
Email verification is required before paid checkout can start. The academy may suspend access if an account is used in a way that breaches these terms or threatens the security of the service.
Free trial
Where offered, a free trial may be available for the duration displayed on the relevant Course page. The trial is timed by the academy server, not by the student's browser clock. Each Student may use the trial only once for each Course. Trial access expires automatically at the server-recorded end time.
A Student may purchase the Course at any time, including before the trial expires. Starting a trial does not create a payment and does not collect card details.
Course access
After a successful payment is verified by the payment provider, paid Course access is activated electronically on the student account used at checkout. Access is available through the student dashboard on this website.
Course content is licensed for personal educational use only. Sharing account access or course materials is prohibited. Course content, lesson structure, and enrollment windows are as published on the relevant course page at the time of purchase.
Payment obligation
The price charged is the published course price stored in the academy's course record at the time the checkout attempt is created. The website does not accept a browser-submitted amount as the charge.
Payment is collected by Fawaterak on a hosted checkout page. Completing payment creates an obligation to pay the displayed course total. Personal training and group training are arranged and priced separately and are not completed through the recorded-course checkout unless a published course record is used.
Intellectual property and course content
Course videos, texts, resources, and related teaching materials remain the property of MRCOG Academy and Dr. Tharwat Helmy. Purchase grants a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own examination preparation.
You may not copy, share, record, redistribute, or commercially reuse course content, login access, or download materials except as the platform expressly permits for enrolled students.
Acceptable use
You must not attempt to circumvent access controls, share an enrolled account, submit false checkout information, or use the website to send abusive, unlawful, or confidential clinical information. Contact messages must not include patient-identifiable data.
Refunds and cancellation
Refund and cancellation rules are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. That policy forms part of these terms for paid recorded-course purchases, including any free trial offered before purchase and the general non-refundable nature of paid digital Course access after payment, except where otherwise required by applicable law or approved for an exceptional payment or service issue.
Service availability
The academy aims to keep the website and enrolled course access available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Temporary interruptions can occur for maintenance, hosting, or payment-provider events. Official MRCOG examination rules, dates, and eligibility remain those of the RCOG and are independent of this academy.
